Shared Governance

It has been difficult for some to find the time and opportunity to attend the monthly Shared Governance Committee meetings. The scheduled meetings often conflict with your established plans. In an effort to remove these restrictions of time and place, we will begin piloting this blog as a substitution for these and other meetings. Success of this substitution will be measured by the level of participation it garners.

It's YOUR ideas and creativity which have thus far contributed to the success 7 Blue has experienced. We are often asked to pilot projects because we are so successful at what we do. We hope you'll continue to demonstrate this strength by participating in this forum. Dust off those ideas in your attic and share them with all of us so our patients, their families, and 7 Blue staff may benefit.

Also, your ideas that may relate more to "the big picture" (e.g. Kennestone Hospital, Nursing Administration, Wellstar . . . ) and it's operations are also welcome. We will be sure to pass them up the ladder. The Shared Governance committee will review all of your comments and suggestions here and determine the best course of action. They will periodically participate in the dialogues that take place within this forum and update you (via this forum) as to what actions have been taken and the status of your request(s). We all look forward to hearing from you!
